this all resonated with me so much! I feel like our whole lives, we’re taught that we should be one or two things and do them perfectly; now is a time for unlearning and embracing our multi-faceted nature!!
as a fellow sag (december though) I’m so excited/jealous to hear about your Paris trip. can’t wait for the travel diary!!
Paris has so many museums, but I’d 100% recommend Musée de l’Orangerie. it’s an entire museum of JUST Monet’s water lilies. so gorgeous, open, and reflective. definitely get there at off-peak hours for maximum vibes
love this so so so much! necessary read today. also, happy birthday - enjoy paris. It's like being injected with joy. If you're looking for a recommendation - the Picasso museum was a favorite of mine... so excited to keep up with your journey!
This post perfectly encapsulates my attitude for 2025. As a perfectionist, I’ve been challenging myself to embrace “living in the rough draft.” I’ve waited for so long for everything to be perfect to start, only to realize that nothing will ever be perfect so I might as well try anyways. I’ve finally gotten to the point where the desire to create is bigger than the fear. Thanks for your words <3
Rereading this for like the 4th time. October was a rough month and these letters help me so much with resetting. So excited to hear about your Paris trip!!! My favorite spots in Paris were the ones I found by accident, just walking around 💕
I would love to be added to the list as well, if possible…thank you!!
there's something about this post that really spoke to me! thank you for sharing and it really made me want to just leap and see where things go <33 safe travels to paris! it's so wonderful and i miss it loads, I know you'll have the best time. so much art and inspiration everywhere 💞 i'd also love to be part of the paid subscribers list if that's possible please, and thank you!
Nearing the end of my twenties, this post is really what I needed to hear right now. I completely resonate with the cautious/hesitant mentality and have been trying to kick it lately and take more leaps!
Please add me to the list, looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts!
I'm cheating and have to go back - but I'm so forgetful I have to make a quick point. Or offer something that may enhance Paris, as if elle fair le miserable anyway... Bois De Vincennes - gorgeous in autumn. Marché Aux Puces - a massive flea market where you can redecorate, create new wardrobe, watch art, busking and quelques choses, a day goes by. I stumbled into Paris in 73, en-route to the vendenge, in car my friend and I bought (no more hitch-hiking). We slept in the park, busked in the market - and stood to drink coffee - 'sans service'. Right, back to your post...:)
I really enjoyed reading your writings, and I resonated with your thoughts on 'making the leap, and just doing it' – it's a promise I made to myself months ago but somewhat I had fallen back into the fear (aka the comfort zone) and lost my way, and I'm taking this as a sign for me to just get back into it
Ahhh I’m so excited for your Paris trip and can’t wait to read all about it 🥹 I’m manifesting going on my birthday (February) too!! Also, I would love to be added to the list! Thank you💕
your writings always come at the best time for me! this was a much needed sign for me to just jump in and do the thing!! Wishing you the happiest birthday and the most magical time in Paris! Solo trips are so good for the soul!!!
Also please add me to the paid subscriber list <3 i can't wait see what you've got going on for keepsake!!
